A dear friend, Fulvio has written to me on Facebook to promote his newly created website, which is a website to cater for those in search of places of living in Brunei, Malaysia and Singapore. Ironically, Fulvio is an Italian traveling and living in Malaysia for some time. To have done this to a country not of his own, he stands out among the rest for being the people of the world, notwithstanding, religion, color of the skin, and any other differences which are apparent to us all.
Hi Farah 🙂
how are you? it seems ages since that evening at istana budaya 🙂 I had great fun, wish we had chances to met each other more often… but well, I’m coming to Malaysia by end of march – early april again 🙂 perhaps there will be chance to meet again and have a drink together again 🙂
Sorry to disturb you and write now, hope you have a couple of minutes to read this. I’ve recently launched a website – http://www.roomlah.com – which may turn useful also to you and others in KL or Malaysia. I had inspiration to do this while I was in Malaysia and tried to look for an apartment, I didn’t like too much the websites available to find a room and apartment, so I wanted to try to do a better one. Now it’s finished! Well, the malay translation is due to next week, but right now you can use it in Chinese too!
I’m trying now to make it popular, which is probably harder than coding it 🙂
One of the best way to make something popular in this time and age is still spreading words manually. So I’m writing friends with many connetions to ask a favor and pass the link of Roomlah to everybody they know and explaining what is it about. I think this application could be useful to many of you, so I hope it’s appreciated.
It would be very kind of you if you can ask all your friends in Facebook to become fans of Roomlah fan page http://www.facebook.com/pages/Roomlah/282995427847
and ask them if they can follow Roomlah main Twitter account: http://twitter.com/roomlah
Roomlah has several more accounts, one for each country or city, but these are the main ones meant to get the website known and update people about general news
Apart from these two things you might pass to friends this file: http://www.roomlah.com/ROOMLAH.zip – inside there’s a PDF file with a simple poster that people can pass to friends, hang in offices, schools, public spaces, bulletin boards, etc.
You can ask your friends to do the same for their friends and so on
Well that’s all for now 🙂 Thank you very much if you can help, hope to make Roomlah a good service for malaysians (and I’m preparing more websites too!) 🙂
cheers, hope to see you soon again!!
